Full fields are the order of the day for the Gore Harness Racing Club’s 125th Anniversary meeting on the grass tommorrw.

There are a number of runners across the twelve race card that have good grass track stats and some could be at good odds.

Race One: He’s Tough (He’s Watching) and Always A Menace (Always B Miki).

He’s Tough’s (5) form is very good at the moment and he’s the winner of eight races including three on the grass.

Always A Menace

Always A Menace (12) is one of two runners for Matt Brinsdon. She’s had four starts on the grass for a win and two placings.

Race Four: Jay Bee Hill (What The Hill) and What’s The Whisper (What The Hill).

Jay Bee Hill

Jay Bee Hill (5) comes into Sunday’s race fresh, having last raced in August. She’s had five runs on the grass for two minor placings. Matthew Williamson takes the drive.

What’s The Whisper (12 unruly) got things wrong at his last start but ran home well. He’s had two starts on the grass for two minor placings. Often trotters can be a bit more settled on grass and he appears to be one who will be suited to the softer surface.

Race Five: Sure To Rise (Lazarus).

Her form is excellent and three runs on the grass have produced two minor placings. The Kirstin Green trained runner will be looking at going one better.

Race Six: Joany Baby (Speeding Spur) and Harriet’s Moment (Volstead).

Both of Joany Baby’s wins have been on the grass while Harriet’s Moment (10- unruly) has won her last two starts on the grass.

Race Seven: Twice The Charm (Bettor’s Delight) and Arma Forest (Downbytheseaside).

Arma Forest

Twice the Charm (1) and Arma Forest (8) have each had just a start on the green surface and won.

Race Eight: Dominations Call (Trixton), Practical Magic (Majestic Son) and Hidden Talent (Bacardi Lindy).

Dominations Call

All three runners have good grass stats. Domination’s Call (2) has won four races on the grass and has been placed a further eight times. Practical Magic (5) has an impeccable grass track record - from sixteen starts she’s won four and has been placed a further four times. She’s won her last two starts, both on grass. Hidden Talent (7) despite her form line is the class horse in the field.  She’s had four starts on the grass for two wins and she won this race last year.

Race Nine: Mr President (Sweet Lou), Airwave (Panspacificflight) and Tuneinsportsfans (Sportswriter).

Airwaves

Mr President (4) has won once on the grass and has been placed twice, while veteran pacer Airwaves (9-inside second row) has won four times on the surface and was placed a further three times.

Tuneinsportsfans is a grass and track specialist. Sixteen starts on the grass have yielded two wins and eight minor placings. He won on this track at this meeting last year.

Race Ten: Still Rockin (A Rocknroll Dance), American Me (American Ideal) and The Big Lebowski (Mach Three) are runners with good grass stats.

Still Rockin

Still Rockin (5) is the winner of nine races - four on the grass. He’s been placed a further eight times on the surface. Two of his wins have been on this course.

American Me (11) has had sixteen starts on grass for six wins and four minor placings, while The Big Lebowski (12) won both his last starts on the grass.

Race Eleven: Aveross Majesty (Majestic Son) is starting to come back into a winnable grade. He’s the winner of fourteen - nine of which have been on the grass.

Aveross Majesty

Race Twelve: Insarchatwist (A Rocknroll Dance).

This mare has won thirteen races – seven on the grass and two on this course. She won at this meeting last year.
